The Cenador de Amós team is made up of professionals specialized in different profiles and tasks. Directed by Jesús Sánchez and Marián Martínez, they form a group in which each one of them gives the best of themselves and strives every day to make your experience unique and special.

Jesús Sánchez

Owner and chef. The soul mater of the project. An artist who captures all his creativity on his plates, as if it were a canvas.

Navarrese by birth and Cantabrian by adoption, he brings these origins to his dishes. His environment inspires him and his cuisine is closely linked to the landscape that surrounds him and his values. Recognizable flavors and emotion on the plate.

The cuisine of the Cenador de Amós is at its best, thanks to the technique that Jesús Sánchez knows how to mix so well with creativity.

A solid and entrenched proposal that has converted the Cenador de Amós in these two decades into one of the best gastronomic proposals of the Atlantic arch.

His extensive background and his innate curiosity have made him an alchemist in the kitchen. Managing to create an experience that establishes its pillars in the territory of Cantabria, feeding on the memory that makes up the resources and the way of expression of the chef.

Meet Jesús Sánchez

Marián Martínez

She is the owner of Cenador de Amós, where she has been developing a shared life project, focused on excellence.

She is a professional with a career of more than two decades. Marián personally takes care of the motivation of the team and management of the human resources of Cenador de Amós. Over time, she has been training in personal growth and development tools, where she has discovered one of her passions and the possibility of applying her learning both in team building and in customer service.

The management of human capital, talent, continuous improvement, and the application of emotional intelligence… he is passionate about, especially for the opportunities that this knowledge offers for its application in the room. Currently, as it could not be otherwise, committed to the new environmental challenges, she leads the restaurant development project in a more sustainable environment, as a benchmark for sustainable haute cuisine with the first Solar community in the gastronomic sector, and achieving the Repsol and Aenor certification “Kitchens of Energy Excellence”.

Her restaurant is distinguished with 3 Michelin Stars and 3 Repsol Suns. Together with her partner, we could say that they form the “perfect tandem”, dividing responsibilities, one in the kitchen and the other in the living room, as well as complementing each other. In 2019, the “Ejecutivos” Magazine awards Marián Martínez Pereda the award for Executive of the Year in the III edition of the Cantabria Executive Awards.
